03/03/2010 Lent Course led by Martin Goldsmith - Making a Difference Together
A lent course over a period of 6 weeks on a Wednesday evening on 17th Feb, 24th Feb, 3rd March, 10th March, 17th March and 24th March. Evening starts with a light supper at 7pm, worship at 7:45pm, talk by Martin Goldsmith at 8pm and refreshments at 9:15pm. Using the gospel of Matthew, Martin Goldsmith will teach us to be counter-cultural for the kingdom of God- not just individuals standing alone, but members of God's family wotking together, encouraging and supporting one another. Making practical differences to our homes, workplaces, community and church.
15/03/2010 A Passion for Life Bedford (15th - 19th March)
A series of events are planned for the week 15th - 19th March including a sports quiz night on the 15th March, stand up comedy evening on 16th March, question time style evening on the 17th March, live music event for 13 - 18 year olds on the 18th March and chat show style evening on the 19th March. . FAIRTRADE CHOCOLATE CAKE
The weight of the cake was 7lb 1 1/2 oz. Roy Notley was the closest at 7lb 2oz - a mere 1/2 oz wrong!

Men's Breakfast
It has been decided that Men's Breakfast will take a break for a while and will be relaunched in the future. There will therefore NOT be a breakfast this month.

MENS CURRY NIGHT
This will be held at The Curry Leaf Restaurant, 60 Tavistock St. 7.30pm Friday 19th March. Special price of £8.00 per meal for those who bring a friend. Pay for your own drinks. Please phone 01234 348718 with numbers by Wednesday 17th March, Or sign up on notice on church office door.

WOMENS BREAKFAST
Sat 20 March 9-11am in church. Tickets (£6 / £4) on sale today. We would really appreciate any help with clearing away and putting the church chairs back straight after the breakfast at around 11am. Please contact Gill Watterson (781774).

HELP NEEDED MORNING OUT
Thurs 25th March: 6-7pm, to set up for Messy Morning. Fri 26th March: 9-11am, to supervise a pre-prepared Bible-based craft activity. See Alex Horlock if you can join the team.

5-A-SIDE FOOTBALL
Join us at Pilgrim Sports Hall on 12th March at 9.00 p.m. Please feel free to invite anybody along. £2 to cover sports hall. Hope you can come.

MOTHERING SUNDAY GREENERY NEEDED!
If you have any greenery in your garden to spare for Mothering Sunday posies, please leave in the church porch from Thursday 11th March onwards until Saturday 13th March (morning). The posies are being made on the Saturday morning.

OPEN LEARNING
OPEN LEARNING at Trinity (ICES) Pentateuch Theology Course - Bedford. Self study course based around a workbook supported by fortnightly discussion meetings in a small group.
